53rd Independence Day

Tomorrow is the 31st of August 2010. It marks the 53 years of independence of Malaysia. Reviewing back the chronicles of events that lead to our independence is so nostalgic. It is a time where we see people live in peace and harmony despite their differences. All the people united for the sake of independence. I still recall the struggles of our warrior from the 'keris' and 'tombak' era to the era of the late Lt. Adnan Saidi. This shows how much these people loved and dared to take everything that it takes to protect their sacred land. Their optimism, determination and patriotism are the model of examples that should be followed today.

It is sad to see that people nowadays lack the spirit. And there is no such things as the Malaysian United. People lives only for themselves. It is selfish. I still remember when i was young, all the people in my neighborhood would treat their neighbor's child like a child of their own. I myself was raised by my Indian neighbor for a year. I also has a friend named Ah Liong back then. Situation changed. and this really upsets me because the spirit is not even there anymore.

Even though tomorrow is the independence day, but still,we can't see the 'Jalur Gemilang' been raised and hung up. There are only thorn, old and dirty flags. Even the variations of patriotic songs are not aired on the media.

Is this how we Malaysians appreciate the independence we get today? Is this how we show our love to our country? Is this the idea of developing Malaysia into developed nation? Don't use this fasting month as the reason you can't do these little things. There's still time, go out, buy, and raised a flag. One for each and every car, motorcycle and bicycle you have is enough. Show them you do appreciate them.

How True is This : Men get less than three hours of orgasm

China Press reported that a man’s orgasm – the physical and emotional sensation experienced at the peak of sexual excitement – is an average of less than three hours throughout his lifetime.

The daily quoted Singapore Gleneagles Hospital gynaecologist Dr Fang Zhuang Wei as saying that due to busy lifestyles these days, couples were only sexually active before and immediately after their marriage.

For instance, he said if a man had an average orgasm of about 2.5 seconds over 40 years (from age 18 to 58), and had sex twice weekly with his wife, he would enjoy two hours, 53 minutes and 20 seconds of orgasm in his lifetime.

According to a Chinese online media report, if a man can live up to 78 years old and has a 2.02 seconds of orgasm each time he has sex, doctors in China estimated the man would have 16 hours of orgasm in total.

The daily also reported that superstar Jackie Chan apologised to the families of eight Hong Kong tourists killed in a hostage drama in Manila.

The apology was over a Twitter statement that sided with the Philippine police, reported Chinese dailies.

After the incident, Chan tweeted that he could understand the difficult situation the Philippine police were under for being unable to save the hostages.

China Press reported that his tweet was lambasted by the Hong Kong people.

On Aug 27, Chan issued a press statement apologising for his tweet.

He explained that his assistant in the United States, who helped him posted the message on Twitter, misunderstood the meaning of his original message.

> Sin Chew Daily reported that controversial rapper Wee Meng Chee, better known as Namewee, might be charged in court over his latest short film which condemned the principal who allegedly made racist statements.

The daily quoted Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak as saying that if the related authority had enough evidence, Wee could be charged.

However, Wee told the daily that the two school principals who allegedly made racists comments were supposed to be sued instead.

He explained that his short film was made in a positive manner as he disliked racism.

Malaysia Indonesia

I am so moved to write on this issue after reading blog posts from my two friend.

Indon oh indon

Telunjuk lurus kelingking berkait

Actually it is has been an issue even before the breach of Malaysia waters by Indonesia Maritime Officers. Meanwhile there was also breach of Indonesia waters by Malaysian fisherman. Both parties had been caught and later been send back to their country. What sparks this unstable diplomatic relation between the two countries was the claim that that the officers were handcuffed and not given proper treatment. It is just a little misunderstanding. What worsened the situation is there are several people whom took advantage of the situation. These are the series of events that took place before the breach of waters.

October 2007: Indonesians dispute the use of Rasa Sayang in Malaysia's Tourism Board promotion.

October 2008: Indonesian lawmakers protest against alleged territorial violations by Malaysia in Ambalat.

June 2009: Indonesian model, Manohara Odelia Pinot, 17, alleged abuse by Malaysian prince Tengku Mohammad Fakhry.

June 2009: Jakarta stopped sending maids to Malaysia temporarily until the two countries agreed on new measures to provide better protection to the workers.

August 2009: Indonesian protesters vented their anger on Malaysia over alleged "theft" of everything from batik to dances and songs, calling Malaysia a "nation of thieves".

August 2009: Indonesian media reports a labourer being beaten in Malaysian police lock-up.

August 2009: Indonesia's state-owned recording company alleged that Negaraku was an imitation of Indonesia's song Terang Boelan, adapted from French song La Rosalie.

February 2010: Indonesian demonstrators showed disrespect while Negaraku was played, which resulted in the Football Association of Indonesia, being fined US$5,000 (S$6,786) by the Asean Football Federation.

In this case, it is okay to demonstrate or protest what the other party would have done to your citizens. But make sure that things are done peacefully without tarnishing the inter country relations. The protest in Jakarta had shown a bad image for Indonesia. How could civilized people throwing poo around and burning other country's flag. It is unethical and irrational. People should think before making such actions. It is, by mean, showed how much hatred and anger you had, but it also shows your immaturity. Crisis like this should be settled peacefully. I don't want Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation that was over a long way back ago comes into another sequel.

Come on people, we in Malaysia enjoy listening to peterpan, rossa, radja, wali band and etc. We also enjoy watching your drama. And Indonesian also enjoy listening to spider, tomok and much more. Why cant we share these unique tradition such as batik and others together, but with a touch of our own country's culture. It is a shame for grown ups to fight like child.

I hope my fellow Malaysian friends would not take action into their own hands and do what their Indonesians counterpart is doing.

How True is This : MILITARY NOW A CAREER OF CHOICE AMONG MALAYSIANS, SAYS ARMY CHIEF

SIBU, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- The military is now considered a career of choice among Malaysians, Chief of Army Gen Datuk Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said.

He said this was evident from the overwhelming response to its many recruitment drives nationwide.

"Many of the applicants, if they are unsuccessful in their first attempt, will not hesitate to go for a second or third attempt.

"Even retired military personnel are now encouraging their children to join the force," he said.

Zulkifeli was speaking at a breaking-of-the-fast with officers and personnel of the Third Royal Rangers Regiment of the Ulu Oya Camp and the Ninth Brigade at the Rascom Camp near here last night.

MILITARY-CAREER 2 (LAST) SIBU

Zulkifeli, accompanied by Army Field Commander Lt Gen Datuk Ahmad Hasbullah Mohd Nawawi and Region Two Military Commander Maj Gen Datuk Awie Suboh, had earlier declared open the RM1.2-million Masjid Al-Hidayat at the Oya camp.

Zulkifeli attributed the popularity of a career in the military to the efforts taken by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak when he was the defence minister.

"He has come up with and introduced a better salary scheme, perks and other privileges. Now the profession offers a promising and rewarding future," he said.

On another matter, Zulkifeli said there were still three areas of great concern to the military leadership involving its personnel, namely road accidents, drug abuse and a spendthrift habit.

p/s : It is good to know that people especially youngsters would sign up in the armed forces, aside form getting involved in 'rempit'ing, drug abuse, free sex and etc. Serves your country and be proud of the hardship you will endure.

Owh.

I wonder if some of you been asking yourself,

"Why did this guy suddenly put so much pic in his blog?? It is unusual as he seldom put them and only care to write what is on his mind. "

Damn right, actually I kinda having some sort of brain damage and this had affect my brain to think and my heart to feel. This sickness is due to depression, amnesia, tiredness, lack of rest and the current situation which is not very helpful for me.

Being a final year student and a rankholder is really a pain in the ass. It is not that i admit defeat, but at some point people will say ; stop, stay; let's rest for a while and plan what to do next.

I had been busy doing research for my Final Year Project aka Fuck Your Project or Projek Sarjana Muda aka Projek Sakit Mental. I used to laugh when my seniors told me this, but now i really having the taste of it. Serves me. My final year project is about designing a mechanism to control a missile flight. it may seems easy, but when it comes to the real thing i said to myself "Man, this is so fishingly damning myself." But however i manage to find a few good source and resources that may help me in finishing the project. Thanks ALLAH.

Rankholders is like a prefect or mpp kind of thingy but it is much more cooler than you can ever imagine. It is an honour to be a rankholder. This is where soft skills can be developed. But i can't stand people babling about the same thing each and everyday. Sometimes I think I am herding a herd of cows rather than a bunch of idiots. It is not like they did not know the rules at all. They know all the drill but the problem is they are making idiot excuses every time they are caught breaking the rules. Come on guys, you are like 19, 20 years old, so behave like a man.

It is the 18th Ramadan which means all the Muslims has been fasting for 18 days. It is really a challenging month for me this year as i had more jobs and task to do then before. However i miss breaking fast with my family. By the way, since both of my sisters had finished their study and returned home, this could be the year that i am gonna celebrate Hari Raya with all my family members again. It has been so long since we celebrated it together. Lets not think about it now as there are still 12 days for us to fast. And do not forget to pay your zakat fitrah.

I think that is all for now. Until I write again keep hitting my page. tq
